This was an assignment for my Design Computing class at MIT. We were tasked with designing a box and 3D letters to fit inside it and vertically interlock together.
I chose the theme of growth for my box. The sides have alternating honeycomb and word sides. The words is growth in Arabic, Spanish, and English. I chose these languages because they're related and some of their words grew from each other.
The letters interlock vertically to follow with the theme of growth. They fit snuggly in the box in multiple permutations, as they are all based off the same hexagonal base shape.
