I wanted to make a wearable algorithm. So I visualized the Hilbert curve, an algorithmic L systems grammar, in Processing and used my script to write it to an STL. I scaled the STL in Rhino and 3D printed it on a Formlabs printer with their Flexible resin. After printing I built a physical circuit inside the curve, such that an LED would only light up if the curve was closed and complete. The curve naturally settles to this state. The user takes it apart and wears it as a necklace.
